Juan Turnes is a specialist in Gastroenterology with special dedication to Hepathology research, first in Hospital Clinic in Barcelona during 2002 – 2006 and later in Complexo Hospitalario Universitario de Pontevedra aka CHUP.  Nowadays he is the leader of a consolidated team commited to Hepathology research in Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria Galicia Sur.Their main work areas are HCV, Cirrhosis Complications, hepatocarcinoma, and NAFLD. They have a large experience with Clinical Trials and multicenter studies in Hepathology and NAFLD.
