E. De Martin is a transplant hepatologist at Centre Hépato-Biliaire, Paul Brousse Hospital in France. She has an extensive career in liver disease and transplantation. She graduated from the University of Padova in 2006. She was visiting student at The Center for Liver Disease and Transplantation, Columbia University, New York Presbyterian. She obtained her specialisation at Padova University in 2011. She trained at the Multivisceral Transplant Unit, Padova, Italy and at the Centre Hépato-Biliaire, Paul Brousse Hospital. She obtained the Diploma in Transplant Medicine of the European Board of Transplant Medicine in 2013. She completed her PhD at Padova University in 2015. Currently, she serves as the Director of the Rare Disease Reference Centre for Inflammatory Diseases of the Biliary Tract and Autoimmune Hepatitis. She is also in charge of the transition program from the pediatric to adult services. She is the Past Chair of the ILTS Vanguard Committee and a steering committee member of the ILTS Liver Transplant Immunology Special Interest Group. She is the Treasurer of the French-speaking Hepatotoxicity Network Foundation (REFHEPS). She is an Associate Editor of American Journal of Transplantation and Transplantation and also an Editorial Board Member of JHEP Reports. Her expertise includes liver transplantation, autoimmune hepatitis, genetic cholestatic diseases, and hepatic drug toxicity.
